Red stag hunting in Poland
With great pleasure I would like to introduce to you red stag hunting in Poland. “King of Polish Forest” season starts 21st August and ends the last day of February. Start season is an occasion to harvest nice male’s, however culmination of hunting is the first 3 weeks of September during rut time. This is the most beautiful stag hunt, surrounded by pure nature and untouched by man.
DAY PLAN
Your adventure starts early in the morning before sunrise. Quick snack, coffee and we go to the forest. We will be stalking and listening to the sound of the mature stag roaring. After the morning hunt (8:00-9:00) we will go back to the hotel, eat breakfast, rest and share the experience with colleagues..
Evening, depending on weather conditions we will go out and stay on the high-seat until 1 hour after sunset. If our perfect stag didn’t come during the day we can stay 2h more and wait for wild boars. If you are busy in September and you will not be able to hunt with us – no worries – January and February is also a very good time. In this time we can offer you attractive discounts as it is close to the end of the season. It doesn’t mean that you will not get a nice stag.. Sometimes is even better occasion for short 7-8 kg stag than in rut. It’s only because hunting club have some tags left in plan and they must shoot them and in addition get some profit.
TROPHY SIZE
Standard size of stag antlers is between 5 and 8kg. Big stags are 9-11kg but some areas, you can even see 12-14kg, which is huge stag. The red stag record of Poland is around 14,50kg. The population ageing plan driven by the Polish Hunting Association gives us very good results and year by year we notice increasing medal trophies.
Our hunting areas are located throughout the whole of Poland. Depending on the size of stag that you would like to shoot we have several options to choose from.
Accommodation usually is located close to hunting area (or at the hunting area) – we concentrate on hunting not driving. With various standards of accommodation, we can offer you lodges, hotels and exclusive palaces/castles. For more information please check out our hunting areas.
