Roe buck hunting in Poland
PROHUNT invites you for the ultimate roe buck hunting in Poland. We start from 11th May and end with the last day of September. Premiere date is any great time to shoot nice bucks, however, many times in the rut period (July / August) the greatest trophies can be found. Many hunters do not want to come in rut because they think that all good bucks will be shot in May – that’s not true. All mature bucks are very clever in May. They eat and live at night when it is not possible to hunt in the wilderness 1hr after sunset. For example last season trophy size in rut was 24% better than in may. When females are ready then they start to chase young bucks and take control of the area and then it’s your time!
PLAN OF THE DAY
Same as with Red stag hunting we start early in the morning and hunt until the sun comes up. When animals finish eating and they go back to the forest it’s also our time to come back for breakfast to the hotel.
During the day you can stay at the hotel or we can invite you for a trip around the city.Depending on what you like to do/see we can offer you visting some historical places from old ages to military camps and museums but if you prefer extreme sports or something connected with hunting – no problem we can visit a shooting range and train the eye at running wild boar targets or execute some clays (skeet & trap). In the evening we drive around the hunting area and spot bucks to stalk. After successful stalking we can go on the highseat and wait for mature bucks who will come out just before getting dark.. who knows maybe we will have luck to see some wild boars as well!
TROPHY SIZE
Depending on the terrain, feeding base and condition of the population and the gene, we divide hunting areas into weights in the range of 200-400g, 300-500g and sometimes even 500-700g! Standard size of roebucks are 300-350g and this size of roe bucks you can hunt in a fixed price. You pay one price, doesn’t matter if the trophy weight is 200g or 350g. For bucks over 350g there is some additional payment but also without any top limit so you can even shoot 400-500g. If hunters who are interested they in medal trophies we have also selected areas for them, unfortunately hunting clubs know the value of these trophies and they are interested to sell bucks only by pricelist (pay per weight). Accommodation usually is located close to the hunting area (or at hunting area) – we concentrate on doing hunting not driving. With various standards of accommodation we can offer you lodges, hotels and exclusive palaces/castles. For more information please check out hunting areas.

We are dealing directly with every Hunting Club and State Forest (goverement zone) directly and each of them has different prices. The price will depend on number of hunters and number of animals included in the package.
