The Aquila 3D 25/50 has excellent parameters and combines the characteristics of two devices. It has an innovative way of switching between two types of lenses. By turning the ring at the lens, we set the option with a wide field of view and small image magnification. This is an excellent mode for observing the terrain and for dynamic situations at short distances. The second option allows you to use immediate image magnification to see the details of the target object more closely.
It has an extremely wide field of view and is small in size. Aquila 3D 25/50 is equipped with a highly sensitive sensor with a resolution of 384×288 with a lens with a diameter of 25/50mm (depending on the adjustment setting). In this variant, the minimum optical image magnification is only x2.4. The digital magnification has a smooth adjustment up to x20. Aquila has eye-friendly observation settings. We will select the preferred warm spot display mode. These are extensive color options that meet the requirements of even the most demanding users. There are 8 modes to choose from.
The ergonomics of the device have been carefully thought out. Operation is comfortable with both the right and left hand. The buttons and knobs work very precisely and quietly. The Aquila eyepiece has an adjustable distance from the eye. This option allows you to set the observation at a comfortable distance according to the user’s preferences. In addition, the minimum setting is adapted for people wearing glasses.
Conotech offers a free application that can be installed on a smartphone. It allows you to review recorded videos and taken photos. We have access to the real-time image preview function from the device. Thanks to this, the user of the monocular can share the scene they see with another person.
The monocular is powered by two batteries, an internal one and a replaceable cell. The power supply system has been designed for our times. Aguila has a container for a replaceable battery, which also acts as a charger. Just connect the USB-C cable. In addition, the device will work continuously even when we slide the container out of it. Then it uses the built-in battery. The fast charging system allows you to charge up to 90% of the batteries in just one hour. Fully charged batteries allow for up to 10 hours of operation time of the monocular. All this to improve the comfort of using the device.
Aquila 3D 25/50 has a hinged lens cover, which we can close and open silently. The housing also has a place for a strap. We will appreciate this simple solution in dynamic situations. All we have to do is release the monocular from our hand and it will hang safely on the strap, while we can focus on operating the sight on the weapon.
