It was a wonderful adventure to meet so many wonderful hunters – I am most pleased that everyone left happy and declared their willingness to return. It doesn’t matter that they pat you on the back that it was good – the best proof that you liked it if you come back to me 🙂
The season started very strongly from the beginning of May we shot at least 10 medal roebucks. Rut is a wonderful time – thanks to a weak winter and a rich feeding base, the roebuck trophies were beautiful and impressive. In the vicinity of Wrocław our hunter shot a stag weighing 640g and won a gold medal. There were also several gold medals weighing 500-600g, at least 10 silver and 16 bronze.
The rut in September is a beautiful time. The weather was not good for mushroom pickers so we had great opportunities to listen to the roaring of deer and the beautiful morning misty atmosphere. Even though I have been organizing hunts in Poland for over 15 years, I will never get bored of it. This sound of antlers knocking and roaring gives me a thrill.
The end of the year is a group hunt which was also successful this year – we obtained an average of 40 to 80 animals during 3 days of hunting and over 100 during 4 days of hunting. These are very good results considering the fact that the wolf does not help us. By the way, let’s hope very much that our Government will decide to reduce this species because it causes more and more problems not only for nature but also for farmers, farms and small villages where wolves sometimes walk even during the day.
At the end of the season there were several interesting events such as hunting for deer, fallow deer and mouflon.
In the next season we have a lot of orders for individual and group hunts, which makes us very happy that our work is appreciated and that more and more hunters want to hunt with PROHUNT. Thank you for that and see you in the forest!
