AVATA is an innovation on the thermal imaging market. It is a fully repeatable attachment, mounted on the telescope lens. This solution does not change the shooter’s composition, ensuring the most natural aiming. The device is characterized by small size and low weight. Installation is carried out using dedicated adapters selected for the diameter of the tube at the telescope lens. The device has an extremely sensitive sensor with a resolution of 640×512. Single optical magnification of the attachment image and a wide field of view ensure comfortable use in dynamically changing shooting situations. AVATA can be used as an independent monocular for conducting observations in the hand. An additional accessory is a dedicated magnetic eyepiece with optical magnification x1.5, which improves the quality of using the device in observation mode. AVATA has different color modes that reflect temperature differences in observed objects. In addition, the device has modes that compensate for unfavorable weather conditions to provide the eye with a possibly undisturbed image.
AVATA models without a built-in rangefinder have a system for measuring distance based on the placement of a wild boar, deer or hare silhouette between the beams on the screen. Then the system calculates the approximate distance to the object. This is a useful function when we have doubts about the distance.
AVATA has a menu in many languages. An additional convenience is the built-in spirit level, which displays information about whether the attachment is in the right position. You can also turn on the option that will inform you that you are not holding the weapon vertically while aiming. Recording videos and photos is activated with a single button on the device. It is also possible to turn on recording initiated by the weapon’s recoil. In this mode, AVATA records a recording a few seconds before and a few seconds after firing a shot. The ergonomics of using AVATA have been brilliantly thought out. The system for switching on, switching to sleep mode and switching off can be operated even in total darkness with gloves on. Starting up takes a few seconds. The function buttons have been thought out to minimise their number. The device’s power supply has been innovatively designed. AVATA has space for two 18500 batteries. The container also acts as an independent charger. Just connect the USB-C cable to fully charge the batteries in one hour. In addition, the device can operate even on one battery without affecting the quality of work. AVATA is a complete device that we can always have with us in the field.
