Description
The Delta Optical Extreme 15×70 ED model is probably the best of the large observation binoculars in our offer. This powerful optical instrument is made very solidly and uses the latest optical technologies.
We have here high-quality multilayer FMC coatings that coat all the lens elements and, perhaps most importantly, lenses made of very low dispersion ED glass, 70 mm in diameter, collecting twice as much light as the lenses of classic 50 mm binoculars. ED glass eliminates chromatic aberration and increases the overall sharpness of the image.
The optical quality of the Extreme 15×70 ED binoculars is incomparable to that of cheap, popular binoculars with similar parameters. The image is sharp across the entire field of view, which, in the absence of aberration, means that all contours are perceived by the observer as very expressive, and small details are visible, unattainable in lower-class equipment. It is a pair of binoculars designed for above average applications, so apart from great optics, excellent mechanical workmanship has also been taken care of.
The Extreme 15×70 ED model is very resistant to temperature differences and can be used in a wide temperature range from -40 Β° to +70 Β° C. The massive casing withstands all shocks and impacts during transport and use. Delta Optical Extreme 15×70 ED will be perfect as equipment for landscape observation, on terraces and for use in nature. It will provide a good magnification while maintaining a fairly high brightness of the image. An unprecedentedly large field of view will also be an attraction for observers.
The Extreme 15×70 ED binoculars are also an ideal instrument for observing airplanes at cruising altitudes. Quite high magnification and great detail of the image will allow you to easily recognize the type of machine and the airline. However, these binoculars are, above all, excellent equipment for astronomical observations. It is great for observing bright nebular objects, comets, or large fragments of the Milky Way. The stars visible in the field of view will be point-like, and in the absence of chromatic aberration, they will retain their natural colors. Thanks to the presence of multilayer antireflection coatings of the FMC type, we will avoid glare when observing objects near the Moon. The glasses of the binoculars have built-in filter threads in the 1.25 “standard, so you can use nebula or polarizing filters.
