Description
The models from the Delta Optical Extreme ED series are massive binoculars with uncompromising solutions. When constructing them, the priority was the best optical properties supported by solid mechanics. That is why a porro prism construction was used and low-dispersion elements were used, as well as massive prisms made of high-quality BaK4 glass.
Thanks to ED glass lenses with very low dispersion, the chromatic aberration in the image has been significantly reduced, and thanks to the powerful prisms you do not have to worry about vignetting, i.e. image darkening on the edge of the field of view. In addition, all the lenses of the Extreme ED models are covered with multi-layer antireflection FMC coatings. They guarantee over 90% light transmission in the entire system, and thus a bright and extremely realistic image with natural colors. The image is free from imaging defects such as astigmatism or coma, and thanks to the correct distortion correction, it is also perfectly flat.
All these features add up to the most important one – the Delta Optical Extreme ED binoculars provide an extremely bright, sharp and contrasting image in the entire field of view!
The Extreme 7×50 ED model is a wide-angle and very bright pair of binoculars. It is suitable for hunting, because with very good resolution and brightness of the image it allows to distinguish the details of the game. They are the perfect binoculars for any application that requires observation at dusk. The mechanically resistant structure will work very well on the deck of a yacht, cutter or ship, while ensuring optimal magnification for observation from the swaying deck. It is also a great proposition for astronomy enthusiasts. The binoculars provide images of large areas of the sky and are ideal for observing the Milky Way. The Extreme 7×50 ED binoculars have a very large depth of field, making this parameter adjustment unnecessary in many cases. The Extreme 7×50 ED binoculars are equipped with a 1/4 “tripod adapter.
The bodies of all Extreme ED models are made of durable metal and covered with a special rubber veneer, which, apart from good grip, provides effective shock absorption when the binoculars fall or hit. The mechanics of these devices can operate in a wide temperature range, from -40 Β° to +70 Β° C.
An important feature of the Extreme ED binoculars is also full waterproofness and protection against fogging from the inside, thanks to the casing being filled with nitrogen that does not contain water vapor. The large dimensions of the Extreme ED binoculars make it quite easy to use them with gloves on in winter conditions.
All Delta Optical Extreme ED models have a separate external focusing system for each eyepiece. Comfortable eyecups fit snugly around the sockets, blocking out light from the outside. This, combined with the large distance between the exit pupil and the glasses, ensures comfortable observations.
