Description

Pulsar 940 IR is an additional, diode infrared illuminator mounted on the Weaver rail, compatible with Recon and Digisight digital night vision devices.

The illuminator is light, compact and what is important in the case of this model – the maximum radiation falls on a wavelength of 940 nm. At such a wavelength, it is almost imperceptible to the naked eye when looking straight ahead, it is also more difficult to detect when observing the Generation I night vision device (for the same reason this illuminator is also not suitable for use with 1st generation analog night vision devices, e.g. Yukon NV MT ).

The illuminator has smooth angle adjustment and power regulation from 30 to 200 mW – so it is suitable for both night vision devices with a large field of view as well as for digital sights. It is powered by two 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries.
